The Boss (Staplers and Paperclips are the Deadliest Corporate Weapons)
The Boss is either a fantastical short about how violence begets violence and, unless that cycle is broken, nothing will ever change or a slapstick tale of an office drone rising up kung fu-paperclip style against an oppressive stapler-slinging boss. Directed by Alex Emslie’s for the Reed Film Competition, the video is spectacular in that all of the effects were done in-camera and, because of this constraint, are very very fun.
