Sight (A Stellar Sci-Fi Short About the Potential of Vision Based Augmented Reality)
Sight is a science fiction/futuristic short film about where vision based augmented reality could be headed in the next decade or two. Put together by Eran May-raz and Daniel Lazo, it builds off of the simple idea of installing augmented reality interfaces, apps and games directly into your eyes. Basically, it’s like the contact lens version of Google Glasses, but with the additional step of having laser eye surgery. For me at least, when looked at in that context, it doesn’t feel that far off (and that cooking app looks absolutely incredible).
