PBS Off Book’s Art of Title Design (The Most Important Minute in Every Movie & TV Show)
The Art of Film & TV Title Design focuses on the importance of opening credits in movies and TV shows, how that minute will shape the rest of the viewer’s experience and the philosophy behind creating truly glorious opening titles. A part of PBS’s Off Book series, the short features interviews with Peter Frankfurt and Karin Fong (who made the Mad Men opening), Ben Conrad (maker of the incredible Zombie Rules opening of Zombieland) and Jim Helton (and his gorgeous opening for Blue Valentine).
