Heart Stop Beating is a miracle of science. Put together for Focus Forward Films by Jeremiah Zagar (Director) and Jeremy Yaches (Producer), it’s the story of Dr. Billy Cohn and Dr. Bud Frazier from the Texas Heart Institute who, in March 2011, successfully replaced a man’s heart with a “continuous flow” device they had developed. In essence, they proved that life is possible without a pulse or heart beat.
