New York City Ballet’s Recreating a Tutu is a look at the wear and tear a performance tutu goes through, and the painstaking efforts that are undertaken to restore it. Narrated by Marc Happel and directed by Galen Summer (who also directed New York City Ballet’s Pointe Shoes), it’s the level of detail in the tutu’s restoration process that is most impressive.
