Gates Foundation – Family Planning (The Colossal Benefits of Accessible Contraception)
Family Planning is an animated PSA espousing the value and overwhelming benefits of accessible contraception. Put together for the Gates Foundation by Gentleman Scholar (maker of the super fun Count on Me), it examines how, for every $1 invested in in making contraception accessible, up to $6 can be saved in infrastructure costs. Additionally, according to the animation, by giving women greater access to contraception would allow them to stay in school longer, have fewer unwanted pregnancies and would prevent the deaths of 600,000 children and 100,000 women every year.
